What is NCLEX and why do I need it?
To practice nursing in the US as a licenced nurse you are required to pass the NCLEX (National Council Licensure EXamination) Exam. Examinations are run by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN). NCLEX is a computer based test consisting of multiple-choice questions designed to test the knowledge and essential skills of nursing for entry-level nurses.
